Foundry production
The own smelting and casting complex allows the ALTEK plant to produce high-quality aluminum cylindrical ingots (pillars). We ensure the exact chemical composition of the alloys and the ideal geometry of the blanks for subsequent extrusion.
Production features
The aluminum foundry includes 6 stages:
- Receiving and careful unloading of raw materials, ensuring the purity and safety of materials for the future alloy.
- Melting in high-tech furnaces with jewelry introduction of alloying elements to achieve an impeccable chemical composition.
- Formation of workpieces in direct-slip crystallizers. The use of a heat nozzle and a TiB1 modifying ligature makes it possible to obtain a fine-grained and homogeneous metal structure.
- Cylindrical ingot end face: precision cutting of spigots and bottoms to achieve perfect geometry.
- Deep homogenization in specialized furnaces at a temperature of +580 °C. This stage relieves internal stresses and prepares the metal for the most severe loads, culminating in controlled cooling.
- Transfer of finished ingots to the press shop for extrusion, which transforms metal into the most complex architectural and industrial profiles.
